I started raising birds after marrying a Silkie Breeder. I wanted to have my own connection to her her hobby. I currently
have a small number of Non-Bearded Silkies but plan on adding others later as I gain experince. I do not sell eggs or chicks
at this time. Too afraid I will loose that one chick in a million that is true Show Quality.

I am a member of the National Silkie Breeders, District 5 Rep and the ABA and while raising all my birds to the Standards
I also like the AOV group.I have recently acquired a couple of Lavendars and Self-Blue started silkie chicks which I have
Great hope for. I will be showing my first NB Black Pullet at Zanesville Ohio on March 1st. My wife Shari wanted us to have
very different stock so that I get credit for my own work.I am located in Ohio but very close to the PA line. I am a Road
Department Employee and a University Policemen.
My First Show was March 1st in Zanesville Ohio. I was fortunate to BV with my NB Black Silkie Pullet
- I am off to good start and this girl seems to be an excellant start - My next show is Marietta Ohio March 29th
